The second month has definitely been an experience for me. It has actually brought me closer to God in a way that was very hard. The hardest part was that, well, we once again found stachybotrus in our home in Arizona. We are actually remediating it even as I write this. We found it in one of our three bathrooms where the drywall was right by the shower curtain. When we would take a shower, sometimes the floor would get wet there because the bathtub isn't that big and the tile is close to the tub. Anyway, the wall got wet and some stachybotrus grew right under our noses.
Now that I got that out of my system I want to talk about the bringing me closer to the God kind of thing. I know, I know, I'm completely changing the subject but, I just want to say this month I got to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is how it went. Me, my older sister Kaitlyn, and my younger brother Brandon started a Bible study every day exept for on the weekends. I've also ordered a WWJD necklace for us three. The new life is hard very, very hard. But I have my family my caring friends the Camachos (I think that's how thier names spelled) and of course God's word, the Bible. And just to throw this in, I also have the Left Behind kids series my dad wrote. His name is (just in case you don't know) Chris Fabry. And it's pronounced fay-bree.
Now to get to the diet part of this post. It has definitely been a struggle for me and the family. The mold has really set us off so it's a good thing we started this diet when we did otherwise, well I don't know what would have happened. We probably would be alot more sick than we are right now. I now have a exellent stir fry that my mom approves of. I feed it to me myself and I. ;). My butcher friend helped me with the idea last month if you read it. We definitely have made some inprovements with what we can eat. Like now me and Brandon can have Goat Milk Yogurt again where as in the beginning of the diet we couldn't. The soup is always (well not always, sometimes) stalked up. We now have this routine kind of thing where me and my lucky faithful sidekick Brandon do the breakfast dishes together and get paid 10$ every 2 weeks. But we also have this kind of thing wher my big brother Ryan is the soup manager, my other big brother Reagan is garage manager me and Brandon are dishes managers.
I can tell God brought us down this (kind of hard) road just to see the brilliantly shining light at the end. Thank you, see you next month.

The First Month On The Diet
I'm sorry I didn't write a lot during this month, but I thought of just writing a blog post at the end of each month so that way you can read what happened to me this whole month.
Our first step of the GAPS Diet is going the whole first day on soup. Just soup. That helped my body so much because my body is so used to having a lot of sugar. I stayed in range with my blood sugars the whole entire day without one slip up. My Lantus that night was I think 5.5 units with no Novolog all day. 4 days before this I went low to 55 or 65 stuff like that.
After the soup day I started eating nuts and stuff again. But little did I know that soon we would be taking nuts out of the diet too. I was the first one to take out the almonds and cashews because they were sending me sky high - when I say sky high I mean my blood sugar went to the 200s and just stayed there for about a week and a 1/2 and never got in range no matter what we dosed. We soon figured out that after we took off of nuts I needed something in its place. So we put kefir in and goat milk yogurt with vanilla extract and cinnamon and stevia and I'd mix it around with a spoon and drink it. But we took that out of the diet 4 1/2 days after we put it on the diet.
Once we took the goat milk kefir and yogurt out I still hovered around 200. So we decided to up my Lantus. It worked for a little while when I had veggie stir fries all day and soup and plain coconut creme concentrate (YUM.) Then I started going low in the middle of the day and in the middle of the night and in the morning. My lantus is now down to 7 units.
The day before yesterday we had a friend who is a butcher come over and cook for us all day long (he is from england and I really really like his accent.) He taught me how to cut courgette, carrots, onion, and cabbage. We helped him cook some really good stuff like Chicken Casserole, Mexican Chicken, and really really good veggie soup.
Just yesterday I got my own kitchen knife and cutting board. And our friend said that he would love for us (me and my sister, Kaitlyn) to come over to his house soon and cook for my family before hand and then have them come over and eat.
So it definitely worked out that we took out the stuff that I crave (if you crave anything on this diet you need to take it out of your eating.)I'll talk to you next month (or earlier) and tell you what has been going on.

My Birthday in California
Me and my dad had the best time of our lives at Universal Studios Hollywood in California.
Every 10th birthday you get to go wherever you want to go in the united states of America ( Alaska and Hawaii don't count.) I decided to go to Universal Studios Hollywood I was going to the beach too.
The week before we left to California was when my dad told me in the car if I would want to leave next Thursday. I of course was in so much excitement I was thinking to fast and just said "YES!!!!" As soon as we got home I told all my 8 siblings where I was going.
We left at about 3:00 and we were on our way. We arrived in California at about 8:00 and ate at panda express. We had a big dinner/desert. After that we looked for a hotel but all we saw were about 1,000 casino's. It's harder to get into where all the hotels are because they literally have no signs at all oust there It's really hard to get to the hotels. We drove for like another hour and finally found a hotel that we could actually see and get to.
We left the next morning to Universal and it only took us a 1/2 hour to get there. When we got in the Universal city walk it felt like you were in some tiny state with like 1,000,000 people in it.
The first ride I went on was called The Simpson's Ride. My dad felt sick after it because it's one of those virtual roller coasters where there's a big movie theater screens that shows you like a video but it throws water at you and other stuff like that.
I know I'm skipping to the end here but the last ride I went on I went on 3 times (and dad went with me) It's called The Jurassic Park Ride that has an 85 ft drop at the end. The funny thing about us falling is they take a picture of you while you fall, and when you look at the picture of my dad you'll see he's got his arms around the lap bar, his head in between his arms. When you look at me you see a boy who obviously wants his mommy to say "It's all right, It's all right" so it definitely looked like I was afraid of going down that far I would think it would take at least 5 seconds but it takes like 2.
After that we went to the beach and I layed eyes on the ocean for the very first time. Luckily we brought my football and I got to play catch with my dad. He sometimes threw kind of far into the waves and I would grab it and try to keep my balance. One GIANT wave came in and knocked me off my feet. Unfortunately it was right before we were going to leave. So my dad had to give me a towel and I'd have to sit on it.
We drove back that night and arrived at our house at about 6:00AM. I told everyone the stories and stuff and gave them their gifts. It sure seemed like one of the most successful trips of my life.

Three Months on a Diet
Starting Sunday I will be going on this diet called the GAPS diet. The reason I'm doing this is because my mom got an e-mail from a lady whose daughter has type 1 diabetes. The e-mail said that her daughter got on a brand new diet (the GAPS diet) and it lowered her A1c to 6.0.
A1c measures the average blood sugar. An A1c of 6.0 is great for a child with diabetes. The lowest my A1c has been is 7.6. It takes three months to get the A1c to an average level.
For the past few months I've been working really hard on trying to get my blood sugars in range. But after me and my dad went on my tenth birthday trip (FINALLY!) I got back and my mom got sick and wasn't doing well. Now you may think I'm crazy for saying this but it was good for her body to have a cold. You see she hadn't had a cold in 5 years and when she got the cold it meant her body didn't have so many toxins held in there. My little brother got the cold first, that's when me and dad left for the trip. Then my sister. Then me. I had it for 2 weeks and it passed. We started school just four days ago with a tutor. And it was just yesterday that we came up with the idea of me going on this diet.
I'm going to keep a journal of what's going on in the process of the diet. You're going to see days as the titles like Day one, Day 2 and so on and so forth. I'm going to try to write every 2 days so it might be more like Day 1, Day 3. If I don't get to writing every 2 days then I apologize and I'll try and write more later.
Just wanted you to know about what's going on.

Leaving In November
In November we will leave this house, because of a court thing (I forgot what it's called). I hope you know our mold story, and if you don't then I'll have to explain it to you. You see, we were in a house in Colorado, and we had to leave it because of, dare I say it, MOLD. And most importantly we had the highest score of Stachybotrys which is one of the most dangerous MOLDS. I'll tell you the names of the molds: Stachybotrys,Aspergillus,Penicillium, Cladosprium, and Chaetomium. That's all I know but my mom knows like every thing there is to know about mold. You can visit HER website at www.moldrecovery.blogspot.com.
Anyway i hope you know enough about our mold story to follow along. So we leave from here in November for a court hearing (I figured it out).
My family is doing very well with what we are doing and how we changed over the last few years. It's still hard to keep up with it but we do it anyway. The picture below shows all 11 family members well Megans not there she was feeling sick so it's 10 family members. I'll tell you their names from the left all the way to the right. It goes Ryan, Kaitlyn, Mom, Kristen, Reagan, Dad, Me, Shannon (also known as she, she,) Brandon, and last but not least Erin. And Megan's not there.

Over the last couple of years I have been one of the most improved of the family. I went from eating Pop Tarts to eating unhealthy cereal. I went from eating cereal to eating Breakfast Bowls. I went from eating breakfast bowls to eating Luna Bars. I went from eating Luna Bars to LaraBars, from LaraBars to smoothies, etc. etc. Every day I wonder when i'm going to heal and yet I am healing, and better healing then you could ask for. My first healing is the diet, my second is the love my family and God have showed me.

Birthdays In December
This month on Dec. 5th I had my 10th birthday and it was definitely one to remember as my mom's blog probably told you about going to build a bear and bla bla bla bla bla and I hope you know his name if you don't then it was Noah. And I met a dog named joseph and I hope to see him again.
Every 10th birthday you get to go any where in the united states of America, and I hope to go to New York but I can't count on it, plus I have an alternative called California. I have to wait for after christmas and then we would go in january.
Also the dad takes the boys mom takes the girls and my mom has already had her last little kitten. because my mom calls one of my brothers (the youngest) is called the last puppy so she is called the last kitten so that's how that connects.
At build a bear you get to get the outer layings of the bear and you go over to the stuffing machine and YOU get to put your foot on the pedal. Then you watch the young lady (probobly in her 20s)stuff the bear and that's the coolest part because you watch the bear rise up and it comes alive in your mind , then you know that it's yours. Then the second step is you go over to this shower/air shooter and you wash him. Then you go and pick out an outfit for him or her which ever you choose and then you go up to the cash register and ring them up and off you go.
so that's what happpens on 10th birthdays.

Christmas Night and Day
Today I wrote a poem about Christmas which is only in 3 days. It's about me getting ready for Christmas watching lots of stuff like snow fall stuff like that.
hope you enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is Christmas day
It's almost time to open gifts
Santa's working on his sleigh
As the snowfall begins to drift
I hang up my red stocking
The tree glistens with Christmas lights
The cookies smell is shocking
The big presents give lots of fights
I sit there waiting for him
Eager to unwrap the presents
The night begins to get thin
Maybe he'll be here in seconds
It's finally Christmas day
They are all eating fairly fast
Don't get blown away they say
They all say that it was a blast!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
